Following up on the last post (Can you Feel the Rhythm of Korea), here are the newly added videos.
1. Escape to Korea – BETTER RUN
As you can probably tell from the YouTube thumbnail, is it Squid Game? That’s right.
This promotional video was created with a similar concept to coincide with season 3 of ‘Squid Game’. (Of course, it’s promoting South Korea).
It introduces various places centered around the Seoul metropolitan area, and ‘Naksan Park’, which was introduced in the ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ post, is included as well.
2. Echoes of Korea – Jeolla
The video’s subtitle ‘Jeolla’ refers to Jeolla Province in South Korea.
This video is centered around ‘Seungmu’, a traditional Korean dance.
Historically, Jeolla Province is known as the cradle of Korean art, music (Pansori), and food.
Through rich, slow, and picturesque visuals, it showcases various places in Jeolla Province that emphasize natural beauty and tranquil traditions.
3. Echoes of Korea – Gyeongsan
The video’s subtitle ‘Gyeongsan’ refers to Gyeongsang Province in South Korea.
This video features ‘Geommu’, a dynamic and powerful traditional sword dance.
The dance is reinterpreted in a modern way to embody the “dynamic spirit” of the region.
While the visuals are still beautiful, they contain more energy and grandeur than the Jeolla video.
The locations are iconic historical sites presented as epic stages.
